Juris Doctor (J.D.)

I. Prerequistes: Students should have successfully completed 60 or more college semester units applicable to a Bachelor’s Degree prior to admission to Lincoln University School of Law. Students must request that official transcripts be sent to the Director of Admissions of Lincoln University from the college(s) where those units were earned.

II. Program Requirements: 180 units of successful law study, for four calendar years are required. Core courses, as indicated under degree requirements, must be taken by each student. These core courses have been designated as examination subject areas by Lincoln’s Academic Advisory Board as needed to insure that Lincoln graduates are prepared to undertake the practice of law. Students may elect courses from an optional list to complete the total number of required units.
